pleased to invite you to an evening bringing together No Country for Old Fag, a performance by Gregoire Schaller at Bull Room, and 31 fragments, an exhibition by Gregoire Schaller & Celia Boulesteix at MAINTENANT.

Developed following Grégoire's participation in the 2024 Villa Albertine collective residency in Marfa, both projects stem from fieldwork conducted around ecological and migratory issues along the US-Mexico border.

No Country for Old Fag reimagines the myth of the cowboy through a queer and critical lens, confronting the entertainment industry's archetype of virile conquest with marginalized histories and lived realities.

In parallel, 31 Fragments unfolds through photography, textile, metal and ceramics, where works emerge as sensitive surfaces and spaces of passage and transformation
